Carroll County Electric Department has transitioned to a new vendor, Clearwater Payments, to process electronic payments. Customers who enjoy the convenience of paying their bill online (click here to pay your bill online) or by phone through Interactive Voice Response (Toll-free: 1-866-430-1822) will notice reductions to the convenience fees. You will need your Carroll County Electric Location & Customer numbers to process the transactions.
Card Type Transactions: $3.50 (Visa Credit/Debit, Mastercard Credit/Debit, & Discover) E-Check Transactions: $1.25 (must have bank routing and bank account number)
Maximum payment amounts allowed: Residential - $750.00, Commercial - $1000.00.
Limitations: Three payments can be made within a 5-day period and five payments can be made within a 30-day period.
PLEASE NOTE: Payment information for internet and telephone (electronic) is updated in real-time. Customers who have been disconnected for non-payment and are paying the past due balance plus reconnection fee need to call the office once the payment is made. This will ensure the serviceman is dispatched to your location to complete the reconnection. Automatic Bank Draft
The Bank Draft plan is a method of bill payment, which guarantees you will never pay a late charge. The plan will draft the amount due on your monthly billing statement from your checking or savings account on the due date. You will continue to receive regular monthly statements and it will be marked “Paid by Bank Draft”.
